Well. Everything sure did happen. But somehow, someway, the crew was able to avoid a total failure, even if it involved some questionable methods. Those methods might come back to haunt you some time down the line, but for now? For now, you're welcomed into the colony—but you might not want to stay here too long. The ship logs won't hold up to detailed scrutiny, and there is one alien among you. You could of course, try to take matters into your own hands but there are eyes all around you now, and who knows what the justice system in this world is like.

But you're free to go, back to your own world via a replica of the very same machine that brought you here by accident, at least if you're still alive. If you're dead? Well you're stuck with your illustrious captain, cause he's bailing as soon as he's able to stand on two feet. You'll be joining him back on a trip to his home world, bereft with it's own set of problems but at least you'll be getting a new body shortly after you arrive. It's not the good ending you wanted, but at least it's something.

And as for the intruder among you...the colony might have to deal with an alien invasion sometime in the very near future, and it's world hopping technology might be falling into aliens hands but. Hey, at least the De'dri hive likely has other priorities to cross off it's list before invading other worlds.

(OOC: Thank you for playing in Convive! It's been a wild three weeks. Feel free to thread out any epilogue threads before your character decides to run for the hills, though they are free to stay and help the colony with the alien invasion if you want. )

[Well, Garista is... Honestly, he's mostly here to see how super fucking dead everyone is or isn't right now, largely through morbid curiosity; he isn't interested in explaining himself, though he doesn't fault anyone who wants him to. As it stands, he's mostly here to...well, see if Rossiu is in one piece, because Reasons - he personally may not be infected anymore but that's actually beside the point - and also just to verify some things for himself before fucking back off to wherever it is ghosts go.

In other words, awkward and standoffish in death as in life, it seems. Awesome.]

[Garista isn't the only one who's just sort of Here. Rossiu is hoping to escape as soon as possible for quite a few reasons, chief among them being that his world is still kind of about to be destroyed, and he'd really like to go home and fix that.

But since it's going to be awhile before we can manage that, he's going to find a spare moment to find Garista and talk to him while everyone is distracted.]

I doubt he would be. I suppose you could pretend to be in a situation like Data, but I don't know if that would change anything for him.

We succeeded in what we were trying to do. There's no point in regretting that now.
