[Alien parasites? A doomed homeworld? People and matter transporters? Ugggh, it's been a long... however long this has been.

Mariner steps out of her pod with all the grace of a half-asleep teenager that's been asked to get out of bed on a winter morning. She doesn't care for the space suit, orange's not really her color, but hey she'll put it on to stave off death in the dark cold of the final frontier. Thank goodness for pockets, there's enough room to hide a phaser in here - just in case, of course.

And now she just... wanders the ship in a clockwise motion. Obviously getting the lay of this new ship and nodding at everything she sees, and talking not so quietly either.

Sorry, not talking. Complaining.

...Trying to make matter to save your world when you could just make a perfectly good genesis device. Like, come on, it's right there. Now parasites, too? Can you believe this shit?

[Yes, she's talking to you now, apparently.

Sometime later, Mariner's moved on to the cafeteria. No, she does not seem to have calmed down, even when she's rooting through the ships food collection.

Don't tell me there's not a single replicator in this place. [She hangs her head against a pack of sealed steak.] Ugggghh, vacuum-sealed is the worst.
