[This certainly is a rude awakening, and they don't even have time to really react before the Captain's yelling about aliens and honestly, he just sort of wants to go back to sleep. But Rossiu has never once had that luxury in his life, so he gets up and he's quick to get dressed in his usual outfit. It looks like he's once again in over his head in a situation he doesn't fully understand, but what else is new here.

Rossiu heads out to the shields and communications room first. While he certainly does have some familiarity with tech, most of this is a bit over his head. Space travel in general is a bit much, so most of this information is lost on him. Still, there's something familiar about standing around in front of a bunch of tech, and that's almost comforting. You can find him checking things over (but not interfering with anything), or maybe he's moved on to looking over the information on the PDA. Either way, he'll definitely be aware if you walk in, but he's a bit absorbed in what he's doing; you can bother him, if you'd like.

It doesn't take long for him to move on, and you can find him staring out at space in the viewport. Rossiu's hands are folded behind his back as he stares out, but should you approach, he'll definitely take notice.]

It's fascinating, isn't it? Space travel is something we've been working on lately, but this much is still beyond us.

[In some ways it's a lot to take in. Not that it really reflects in Rossiu's voice; he sounds perfectly calm, though he looks incredibly stern which is... sort of his default expression, honestly.

But of course there really isn't any ignoring this entire situation, and after a moment Rossiu turns to properly address you.]
